Sudan visas
Whether you need a visa for Sudan depends on your nationality and the purpose of your trip. Almost all foreign nationals must obtain an entry visa before travelling, and for most purposes a sponsor inside Sudan must first secure an entry-permit number from the Aliens Department of the Ministry of Interior; the visa is then issued by a Sudanese embassy or consulate after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirms approval. Immigration is administered by the General Directorate of Passports and Immigration under the Ministry of Interior.
