Requirements
- Marriage route: married to a Seychelles citizen for at least 15 years and resident for an aggregate of 2+ years
- Descent route: a parent or grandparent born in Seychelles
- Pass the citizenship exam with more than 80% (25 of 100 pool questions, in a national language)
- No criminal sentence exceeding one year
- No continuous absence over one year without ministerial permission

- Access social security benefits, free health care and a state pension
