Who is eligible to enter and stay in Seychelles
No nationality needs a visa for Seychelles, but every traveller must hold a Travel Authorisation and meet the on-arrival conditions; longer stays depend on qualifying for a specific permit.
Important
Seychelles does not require a visa of any nationality. Eligibility to enter as a visitor instead rests on meeting the on-arrival conditions: not being a prohibited immigrant, holding a valid passport and return or onward ticket, having confirmed accommodation, and showing sufficient funds (a minimum of US$150 or equivalent per day). A valid Travel Authorisation must be obtained before travel.
Eligibility for longer stays depends on the route. Work requires a Gainful Occupation Permit (with prior Ministry of Employment approval); study requires acceptance at an approved institution; family routes require a qualifying relationship to a Seychelles citizen; and residence and citizenship routes carry their own connection, contribution, residence and good-character conditions.
