The Travel Authorisation is processed quickly online before travel, and work permits are typically collectable within a few days, but other permit timelines are set case by case.

The Travel Authorisation is processed online, with different processing speeds available; travellers may apply up to 10 days before their flight and are advised to apply as early as possible. The Visitor's Permit is issued immediately on arrival to travellers who meet the conditions.

Gainful Occupation Permits can usually be collected between one and five days after the application is submitted. ICS does not publish fixed processing times for student, dependant, residence, permanent residence or citizenship applications, so timelines vary by case and completeness of documents.
