It operates under the Ministry of the Interior and is the primary decision-making body for residence permits, D visas, asylum, refugee and citizenship matters, as well as residency issues for EU citizens.
Migri implements Finland's immigration policy and processes applications submitted through its Enter Finland online service and on paper. Its official website, in English, is migri.fi.
