Who it is for

  • Non-citizens with a job offer from a Samoan employer
  • Visiting business-persons, short-term contractors/consultants, and long-term contract workers

Requirements

  • Completed MPMC100 form
  • Employer Sponsorship (Guarantee) form completed by your employer and lodged with Immigration
  • Originals or certified copies of employment references, training and academic qualifications
  • Medical report (MPMC102/MPMC103) for anyone over 16 staying 1 year or more
  • Police report for anyone over 18 staying 1 year or more, from each country lived in for over a year in the last 5 years
  • Two recent passport-sized photographs of each person included
  • The applicable fee

What you can do

  • Work in Samoa for the employer named in your permit once Labour approves the employment
  • Dependants may separately seek authority to work during the validity of the principal's permit

How to apply

  • Complete the MPMC100 form (Sections 1, 7 and 11) and sign the declaration
  • Attach the employer's sponsorship form and all supporting documents
  • Lodge at the Immigration Division in Apia or a Samoan mission overseas, at least 30 days before travel
