Samoa immigration fees

Immigration fees are set under the Immigration Act fee schedule and are payable in the currency of the country where the application is lodged. The visitor permit issued on arrival is free of charge.

The MPMC100 information sheet lists the following temporary resident fees: business/investment and employment — WST$600 + WST$300 per dependant offshore, or WST$1,200 + WST$300 per dependant in Samoa; academic research — WST$600 + WST$300 per dependant; study — WST$300 + WST$150 per dependant; cultural/religious and family reunion/support — WST$100 + WST$50 per dependant; visitor extension — WST$100 per person.

Notes

  • Higher (in-Samoa) fees do not apply to further permits with the same employer or business
  • Permanent residence fees are set out separately in the Immigration fee table
  • Always confirm current amounts with the Immigration Division before paying
