How to apply for a Saint Vincent and the Grenadines visa or permit
An overview of where and how to apply, depending on whether you need an entry visa, a visitor-permit extension, a work permit, a residence permit or citizenship.
Important
Applications in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines are handled by two authorities depending on the purpose. Entry visas and visitor permits (including extensions) are the responsibility of the Immigration Unit of the Ministry of National Security, based on Grandby Street and Melville Street in Kingstown. Work permits, residence permits and citizenship applications are lodged with the Office of the Prime Minister at the Administrative Centre / Financial Complex, Bay Street, Kingstown.
Visitors from most countries do not apply in advance: they receive a visitor permit on arrival once they satisfy the immigration officer that they are genuine visitors. Nationals of the listed visa-required countries must obtain an Entry Visa Application Form from the Ministry of National Security and submit it with supporting documents before travel.
For longer stays, extensions of a visitor permit are obtained at the Immigration Head Office in Kingstown or at ports in Bequia, Mustique, Canouan and Union Island. Work, residence and citizenship applications use dedicated forms submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister.
