OECS and CARICOM free movement into Saint Vincent and the Grenadines

As an OECS and CARICOM member, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines grants special entry and stay rights to nationals of fellow member states.

Saint Vincent and the Grenadines is a member of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) and the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), which shapes how regional nationals are treated at the border. Nationals of OECS member states are granted an indefinite stay on entry.

CARICOM nationals are generally admitted for up to six months on arrival. CARICOM nationals holding a CSME (CARICOM Single Market and Economy) skills certificate may work for six months while awaiting an upgraded certificate from the Ministry of National Security, reflecting the region's free-movement-of-skills arrangements.

These regional rights are separate from the general visitor-permit and work-permit rules that apply to other foreign nationals.
