Irembo is Rwanda's official e-government platform where DGIE visa and permit applications are submitted and paid.

Rwanda has consolidated most government services, including immigration, onto the Irembo e-government platform. Visa and permit applicants create an Irembo account, select the DGIE service they need, complete the form, upload scanned supporting documents, and pay electronically.

Using the official Irembo portal (support.irembo.gov.rw for guidance) ensures applications reach the DGIE directly and avoids third-party intermediaries. After submission, applicants receive confirmation and track the decision through their account.
