Some visitor entry permits carry a small fee while visa-free entry is free; residence-permit and permanent-residency fees are set by the Ministry of Interior and should be confirmed on the official portal.

Visa-free entry is issued free of charge on arrival for eligible nationalities. For visitor visas applied for through Hayya, Visit Qatar quotes a fee of around QAR 100 for the Tourist Visa (A1) and the GCC Resident Visa (A2), and a fee for visa on arrival, but the exact amount should be confirmed at the point of application.

Residence-permit fees — for work and family residence, including the Qatar ID — are set by the Ministry of Interior and are commonly paid by the employer for work permits. Investor and permanent-residency routes involve property-value thresholds rather than a simple application fee.

Because fees change and are not all published on a single official schedule, applicants should verify current amounts on the Ministry of Interior portal, Hukoomi or the Hayya platform before paying.
