How to apply

  • Go to evisa.gov.ph and create an account with an active email address
  • Complete the application and upload clear supporting documents
  • Pay the required, non-refundable fees through the available payment options
  • Check application status in the portal and by email; register in the eTravel system before arrival

Requirements

  • Be a foreign national travelling for an eligible purpose - business, pleasure, medical treatment, training, or attendance at conferences, meetings, workshops or seminars
  • Hold a passport or travel document valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended period of stay in the Philippines
  • Be able to complete the application and pay the non-refundable fees online (currently by direct bank transfer) within the 48-hour payment window
  • Attend an interview if requested by the visa officer
  • Register in the eTravel arrival declaration system before arriving in the Philippines

Documents you may need

  • Passport or travel document valid for at least six (6) months beyond the intended stay
  • Duly accomplished visa application form (completed within the portal)
  • Proof of bona fide status as a tourist or businessman
  • Confirmed return or onward tickets to the next port of destination
  • Clear digital copies of supporting documents uploaded to the e-Visa portal

Frequently asked questions

  • No. According to the official e-Visa FAQ, the authorised period of stay under an e-Visa cannot be extended, and the e-Visa is not valid for conversion to other types of Philippine visa.
