Requirements

How to apply
- Omani or resident sponsor applies through the ROP
- Provide marriage/relationship evidence and Ministry of Interior approval where required
Documents you may need
- Completed electronic application form from the ROP website
- Passport copy valid for at least six months
- Two photographs (6 x 4 cm)
- Marriage certificate authenticated by the embassy and Oman's Ministry of Foreign Affairs
- Copy of the Ministry of Interior's approval validating the marriage
- Copy of the valid identity card
- Medical certificate where required for the applicant's nationality
Frequently asked questions
The ROP Family Joining Visa is valid for two years from the date it is stamped in the passport and is a multiple-entry visa, so the holder can leave and return during that period.
