Oman visas
Whether you need a visa to enter Oman, and which type, depends on your nationality and the purpose of your visit. Short visits by many nationalities are handled through the Royal Oman Police (ROP) eVisa portal, while GCC citizens enter without a visa and residence, work and study require sponsorship inside the Sultanate. All entry visas, residence permits and immigration matters are administered by the Royal Oman Police – Directorate General of Passports and Residence, with policy support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and, for citizenship, the Ministry of Interior.
