Who it is for

  • Skilled and semi-skilled workers with a full-time job offer from an accredited New Zealand employer
  • Workers whose employer has completed accreditation and a Job Check for the role

Requirements

  • A job offer from an accredited employer for a role that passed a Job Check
  • Meet one skill threshold: the job is on the Green List, pays at least NZD $70.00 an hour, you have 2+ years of relevant experience, or a relevant NZQCF level 4+ qualification
  • Evidence of work experience from a source other than yourself (references with certificates, payslips or tax certificates)
  • English language ability for ANZSCO level 4-5 roles
  • Meet health and character requirements

What you can do

  • Work full-time in the specific job, for the employer and at the location on your visa
  • Stay for up to 5 years (3 years for lower-skilled roles), subject to conditions
  • Potentially use the visa as a step toward skilled residence

  • Confirm your employer holds accreditation and has an approved Job Check for the role
  • Receive a job token / offer of employment from the employer
  • Apply online with evidence of skills, experience and English where required
