Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least six months
  • A passport-size photograph for the visa application
  • Completed arrival/visa application (available at the kiosks at Tribhuvan International Airport or online in advance)
  • Payment of the applicable visa fee in accepted currency

  • Enter and travel within Nepal for tourism and leisure
  • Enter and re-enter within the visa validity (multiple entry)
  • Apply to extend your stay in-country within the visa-year limit

How to apply

  • Optionally pre-fill the online tourist visa form on the Department of Immigration portal before travel
  • On arrival, complete the visa kiosk form at the airport or land border
  • Pay the fee for the 15, 30 or 90-day option
  • Have the visa endorsed by the immigration officer at the entry point
