Nauru visas must be arranged before travel through the Immigration Division — there is no visa on arrival and no visa-waiver scheme.

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

All foreign nationals must obtain the correct visa before travelling to Nauru. The Immigration Division of the Department of Justice and Border Control processes applications and issues visas under the Immigration Act 2014 and Immigration Regulations 2014.

The general process is to download and complete the application form for the relevant visa class, attach the supporting documents (including a scanned passport bio-data page and a letter setting out the purpose of the trip), and submit the application to the Immigration Division well before your intended travel date. Approval must be granted before you travel.
