The Immigration Division does not publish guaranteed processing times for its visa classes, and there is no online e-visa system, so applications are handled by the Division directly. Travellers are commonly advised to submit applications several weeks before their intended travel date.

For citizenship, the Naoero Program Office states that the Economic and Climate Resilience Citizenship Program typically takes about three to four months, with due-diligence checks usually taking one to two months of that period.
