Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Most applications require a passport valid well beyond the intended stay, recent passport-style photographs, and evidence of the purpose of the trip. Visa applications typically also ask for proof of accommodation, onward or return travel and sufficient funds.

Long-stay routes require additional documents: an ANAPEC-visaed employment contract for workers, an official acceptance or pre-registration letter for students, and marriage or birth certificates for family reunification. Documents not in French or Arabic generally need certified translations.
