Processing Times

How long a decision takes depends on the route — from a few days for an e-Visa to considerably longer for residence and naturalisation.

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Online e-Visa applications are generally decided within a few working days, while consular sticker visas can take longer depending on the mission and the checks required. Applicants should apply well in advance of travel.

Long-stay processes take longer overall because they combine an underlying approval (an ANAPEC employment contract or a study acceptance) with the residence-permit procedure inside Morocco. Naturalisation can take a considerable time. Exact timeframes are not fixed and should be verified with the relevant authority.
