How to apply

There is no advance application. Present your valid passport (or accepted national ID card) to the Border Police on arrival.

Register your address with the police within 24 hours of arrival. If you stay in a hotel or registered accommodation, the host does this for you; for private accommodation you register in person at the nearest police station.

Keep any registration slip until you leave, as it may be checked on departure.
