Documents You Need for a Mongolian Visa
The core supporting documents for Mongolian visa and residence-permit applications.
Important
For most visa and residence-permit applications, foreign nationals need a passport valid for a minimum period (the C3 employment residence permit, for example, requires at least 180 days' passport validity), together with an official invitation or request letter from the inviting organisation, legal entity, institution or family member that states the purpose and duration of stay.
Long-stay and residence-permit applications commonly also require an address statement from local authorities, biometric registration for first-time applicants, photographs, and — for immigrant (G) permits — police criminal-record certificates, health references, proof of financial capacity, a three-generation biography and translated educational credentials.
Exact document lists vary by visa class and subcategory, so applicants should check the specific category page before applying.
