How to apply
If you are an EEA, Swiss or Schengen visa-exempt national, there is nothing to apply for in advance — simply travel with your valid passport (or national ID card, where accepted) and enter through France.
If your nationality is not visa-exempt, you instead need a Schengen short-stay (type C) visa, which you apply for at the consulate of the Schengen country that is your point of entry into Europe. Once you hold that visa, a visit to the Principality can be made with no additional formalities.
