A residence application must be supported by proof of identity, entry rights, accommodation, means and good character. Non-EEA nationals include their French long-stay visa (type D) in the passport.

The criminal-record extract must be less than three months old and cover each country where you have lived in the past five years. A signed declaration on honour and a birth certificate are also required.
