Who it is for

  • Travellers whose nationality or purpose is not covered by the eVisa
  • Visitors with a sponsor or inviting party inside Libya
  • Applicants able to apply in person at a Libyan embassy or consulate

Requirements

  • Passport valid for at least six months from the date of entry
  • Completed application form and passport photograph
  • Invitation or sponsor approval from the Department of Passports and Citizenship
  • Proof of accommodation and purpose of visit
  • No Israeli entry stamps in the passport

  • Obtain a sponsor/invitation and security approval in Libya
  • Submit the application in person at a Libyan embassy or consulate
  • Wait for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to approve the request
  • Collect the visa once approval is received
