Who it is for

  • Nationals of countries that require a visa or prior authorisation before arrival
  • Travellers from labour-supplying countries who need General Security authorisation
  • Applicants subject to special conditions set by General Security

Requirements

  • Completed application form and valid passport (General Security cites a minimum validity of six months for visa applications)
  • Passport photo, proof of financial means and accommodation (hotel booking or residence address)
  • Return/onward travel ticket for some categories
  • Supporting documents specific to the applicant's category, which General Security may add to

How to apply

  • Apply through a Lebanese diplomatic mission in your country of residence, or
  • Have a sponsor obtain prior authorisation from General Security in Lebanon
  • Submit all requested documents; submission does not guarantee the visa will be granted
