Requirements

  • The B10 visa is normally issued on the basis of an invitation letter (visa support) approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan.
  • Citizens of the 48 countries exempt from the invitation requirement may submit a Letter of request instead of an official invitation letter.
  • Where the visit relates to a relative — including a funeral or the serious illness of a relative — you must provide documents confirming the family relationship, and, where relevant, the death or illness.
  • Your passport must be valid for at least three months beyond the validity of the requested visa and have at least two blank pages.

  • A completed visa application form for each person, in block letters.
  • One recent passport photo, 3.5 x 4.5 cm.
  • An invitation letter (visa support) approved by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, or a Letter of request if you are a citizen of one of the exempt countries.
  • Documents confirming the family relationship, plus death or illness certificates where the visit is for a funeral or the serious illness of a relative.
