Most travellers who are not exempt can obtain a visa for Guinea-Bissau in one of three ways: online through the official e-visa portal at rgb-visa.com, on arrival at Osvaldo Vieira International Airport in Bissau, or in advance from a Bissau-Guinean diplomatic mission (embassy or consulate).

The e-visa route involves completing the electronic form, uploading your passport bio-data page and a photograph, paying the fee online by card, and receiving an emailed approval to print and present at the border. Nationals of ECOWAS member states do not need a visa for short stays.

Because Guinea-Bissau's e-visa service has at times been suspended, confirm the portal is operating before you rely on it, and keep the embassy and visa-on-arrival options as alternatives.
