Requirements
The business visa covers business visitors coming to Eswatini for a short stay of up to one month on entry. It is a visitor category — for meetings, negotiations and similar business activity — not authorisation to take up employment. If you intend to work, or to stay beyond the permitted visitor period, you must apply for a Temporary Residence Permit instead.
- Passport valid for your stay, with at least two unused pages for entry and departure stamps
- Completed application form with a signed statement confirming the business purpose and length of your visit
- Proof that you can support yourself: bank statements, salary advice, an undertaking from your host, or evidence of available funds or credit cards
- A return or onward ticket, or proof of sufficient funds for onward travel, for air travellers
- Supporting business documentation, such as an invitation or undertaking letter from the Eswatini company or host you are visiting
- Yellow fever certificate if arriving from or passing through a yellow fever area

Frequently asked questions
The visitor/business category allows a stay of up to one month (30 days) on entry. You can apply for a further 30-day extension at the Ministry of Home Affairs. To stay longer than that, or to take up employment, you need a Temporary Residence Permit instead.
