This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

For most short visits, Côte d'Ivoire uses an online pre-enrolment system. You create an application on the official e-Visa portal operated by SNEDAI, enter your personal, travel and contact details, upload the required documents, pay the fee and receive a pre-enrolment (pre-approval) document. You travel with that document and complete biometric enrolment (fingerprints and photo) on arrival at Abidjan's Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport, where the visa is issued.

The e-Visa currently allows entry only through Abidjan (Félix Houphouët-Boigny) International Airport. Travellers arriving by land or at other points, or those from countries without online eligibility, should apply at the nearest Ivorian embassy or consulate, or the representation with diplomatic jurisdiction over their country of residence.

Nationals of ECOWAS member states do not need a visa and may enter with a valid passport or national identity card. If you plan to stay beyond 90 days for work, study, family or settlement, you must also apply for a resident card with ONECI after arrival.
