Requirements

  • A valid passport
  • Two identity photographs
  • All supporting documents requested by the issuing mission
  • A yellow-fever vaccination certificate is generally required to enter the country

How to apply

  • Apply online by creating an account on the embassy portal, or download and complete the paper form
  • Submit the application to the Central African embassy/consulate serving your country of residence (routed via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
  • Print and sign your application
  • For postal return, enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope with Chronopost insurance
  • Pay by bank transfer (using the mission's RIB bank details) or in cash at the embassy
