How to apply

  • The sponsoring worker / employer applies through the Work Pass Division
  • Provide proof of relationship, valid passports and supporting documents
  • Family members complete the mandatory e-Arrival Card before travel

Requirements

  • Proof of the family relationship to the person working in Brunei — for a spouse, a marriage certificate; for children, they must be under 18.
  • A dependant pass / supporting letter linked to the working family member.
  • A passport valid for at least six (6) months with sufficient pages.
  • A completed medical check-up / medical report.
  • A Letter of Authority to issue the Dependant Visa must be received from the Brunei authority before the application is processed.
  • All documents must be translated into English.

  • One completed, signed original visa application form.
  • Passport valid at least six months, plus photocopies.
  • Two recent passport-size colour photographs.
  • A confirmed airline ticket, with a photocopy.
  • Marriage certificate (for a spouse) and dependant pass / supporting letter.
  • Completed medical report.
  • English translations of any non-English documents.
