Visa and Permit Fees

Brunei publishes some official fees, such as entry-permit card fees, but does not publish figures for many visa types on its main visa pages.

Official guidance Regularly updated

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

The Immigration Department publishes the Entry Permit card fee by nationality tier: BND 50 per card for certain nationalities (including stateless persons, Indonesians, Filipinos, Thais, Australians and non-Commonwealth nationals) and BND 5 per card for Commonwealth nationals (including British, Singaporean, Malaysian and Indian citizens).

For most visit, business, professional, employment, student, dependant and transit visas, the official MFA and Immigration Department pages describe the visa purpose but do not publish the fee, validity or maximum stay. Applicants should confirm current charges directly with the Immigration Department or the relevant Brunei mission.
