Who it is for

Foreign nationals who have completed the qualifying temporary residence in Bolivia and wish to remain indefinitely.

Requirements

  • Valid temporary residence for three years (or family-based exception)
  • Police background certificates from FELCC and FELCN
  • Criminal record certificate from REJAP
  • International police certificate if outside Bolivia three months or more
  • Proof of economic solvency (e.g. last three months' bank statements)
  • Current 4x4 cm photograph (white background)

  • Reside in Bolivia indefinitely
  • Build residence toward naturalisation eligibility

How to apply

  • Apply at DIGEMIG central or departmental offices with the required certificates
