Requirements

  • Completed and signed application form (Form J)
  • Copies of the passport outer cover and biometric page
  • A photograph
  • Birth and, if applicable, marriage certificates
  • A cover letter to the Chief Immigration Officer stating the purpose, dates and contact details
  • Employment or educational documentation
  • Proof of status if residing outside your country of birth (work permit, student visa or residence permit)

  • Multiple-entry visa: make multiple entries within a six-month period
  • Visit for tourism, family or short business as stated in your application

How to apply

  • Apply through the Immigration Department before booking travel
  • Submit the application form with all supporting documents and pay the fee
  • Allow around three weeks for processing; the visa is issued as a letter to present at check-in and on arrival
