Barbados visa processing times
How long the Immigration Department indicates applications take, where those times are officially published.
Important
Processing times published on official Barbados Immigration pages include: entry visas around three weeks, with no updates given during processing; and student visas issued first as a provisional visa within about ten working days, followed by the final visa within about sixty working days where the financial evidence is satisfactory.
The Immigration Department stresses that applicants should apply and be granted permission to travel before booking and confirming any travel, and that timelines assume a complete application — incomplete applications are rejected outright.
Processing times are not officially published for work permits, immigrant status, permanent residence or citizenship, and the commonly quoted turnaround for the Welcome Stamp and SERP comes from secondary sources rather than an official page.
