Requirements

  • Proof of Bangladeshi origin (former Bangladesh passport, birth certificate) or family relationship (marriage/birth certificate + relative's Bangladesh passport/NID)
  • Valid foreign passport (6+ months) and completed online application
  • Recent passport photographs and the applicable fee

How to apply

  • Complete the online application at visa.gov.bd
  • Submit proof of origin/relationship and fee to the Bangladesh mission
  • Transfer the NVR endorsement when renewing the foreign passport
