Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

For short-stay eVisas and visa-on-arrival, applicants generally need a valid passport, and may be asked for supporting items such as confirmed accommodation, onward or return travel and proof of funds, as prompted in the online application.

Residence routes require more. Work permits generally need a sponsoring employer, an employment contract and, for applicants arriving from abroad, a Wafid-accredited medical certificate obtained in the home country. Dependant permits require proof of relationship such as marriage and birth certificates, and evidence the sponsor meets the salary condition. Student permits require proof of enrolment. Golden Residency requires evidence for the relevant category (property title, salary or pension records, or recognition of talent).
