Requirements

  • You must be travelling onward to a third country and using Azerbaijan only to transit.

  • A visa (or confirmed visa-free right of entry) for the destination country you are transiting to.
  • Proof of the onward journey, such as a transport ticket from Azerbaijan to the destination country.

  • A recent passport photograph taken within the last 6 months
  • A copy of the visa for the destination country (unless you have visa-free entry to that country)
  • The transport ticket for the journey onward to the destination country, or other confirmation of the trip

  • No. If you remain within the international transit area and do not pass through immigration control, no transit visa is required. A transit visa is needed only if you will cross the border to continue your journey by land or on a separate onward flight requiring entry.
