Requirements
- You must be travelling onward to a third country and using Azerbaijan only to transit.
- A passport valid for at least three months after your planned departure from Azerbaijan.
- A visa (or confirmed visa-free right of entry) for the destination country you are transiting to.
- Proof of the onward journey, such as a transport ticket from Azerbaijan to the destination country.

Frequently asked questions
No. If you remain within the international transit area and do not pass through immigration control, no transit visa is required. A transit visa is needed only if you will cross the border to continue your journey by land or on a separate onward flight requiring entry.
