Who it is for

How to apply

  • Book an appointment and apply in person at the Migration and Citizenship Service (14 Tairov Street, Yerevan)
  • Provide the required documents and proof of your ground
  • Extend before expiry to maintain status

Requirements

  • Permanent residence is granted on recognised grounds, which include: being of Armenian descent; carrying on entrepreneurial activity in Armenia; and being a close family member of an Armenian citizen or resident.
  • Family members applying on family-reunification grounds generally need to evidence at least three years of prior residence.
  • You must already be lawfully resident in Armenia when you apply.

  • 3 colour photographs (35 x 45 mm)
  • Passport with a notarised Armenian translation
  • Health reference
  • Proof of legal residence in Armenia
  • Category-specific documents (descent certificate, business records, or family documents, with at least 3-year residence evidence for family members)
