Whether you need a visa for Armenia depends on your nationality and the purpose and length of your visit: many nationalities enter visa-free, others use the online e-visa, and some must apply through an Armenian embassy. Entry visas are issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (mfa.am and the e-visa portal evisa.mfa.am), while residence status and citizenship are handled by the Migration and Citizenship Service under the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
