- Nationals of countries that do not need a tourist visa for Argentina
Who it is for
- Remote workers and freelancers serving employers or clients based outside Argentina
- Nationals of visa-waiver countries only
Requirements
- Valid passport or MERCOSUR travel document
- Criminal background certificate (ages 16+)
- Proof of address and regular entry
- Signed application stating personal data and independent/remote work activity
- Brief CV showing relevant experience and education
- Proof of employment or income (contract, company endorsement, or confirmation of work demand)
- Foreign documents legalised or apostilled, with certified Spanish translation where needed
What you can do
- Live in Argentina while working remotely for overseas clients or employers
- Extend once for a further 180 days on proof of income earned during the initial period

- Applicants in CABA can contact asesoramiento@migraciones.gov.ar; applicants elsewhere visit their local Migraciones office
- Visa-waiver nationals may also use the electronic entry procedure (Tramitacion de Ingreso Electronica) for digital nomads
- Must be present in Argentina; only official platform fees apply
