Important
Eligibility depends on the route. Employed residence requires a job with an Andorran employer who can justify hiring from abroad; self-employed residence requires a genuine, viable business or professional activity. Both require CASS affiliation and depend on the annual immigration quota, and employers must prioritise Andorran nationals and existing residents before recruiting abroad.
Family reunification is open to the spouse or stable-union partner, minor and dependent children, and ascendants aged 65 or over of an Andorran national or a resident permit-holder. Study authorisations require enrolment in studies, a placement, high-level sports training or research.
Residence without work is for financially independent people who invest in Andorra and do not work locally, with dedicated sub-categories for internationally focused professionals and for recognised figures in science, culture and sport. Each carries financial, health-insurance and criminal-record conditions.
