Andorran Immigration Fees, Deposits and Investment Requirements

An orientation to the costs involved — government fees, the AFA deposit and investment thresholds — and why exact amounts must be checked.

Important

This information is for general guidance only. Meeting the requirements does not guarantee your application will be approved.

Andorran immigration involves several distinct costs: government processing/immigration fees for the authorisation, and — for residence without work — a qualifying investment in Andorran assets plus a refundable deposit lodged with the AFA (Autoritat Financera Andorrana). Active residents also pay ongoing CASS social-security contributions.

The investment threshold for residence without work and the AFA deposit amounts are set by law and decree and have been revised (notably a substantially higher investment threshold reported for 2026), with additional deposit amounts commonly required per dependant.

Because these figures change and vary by category, confirm the current amounts against the relevant reglament and the Government's fee schedule before relying on any specific number.
