Who it is for

  • Agricultural and animal-husbandry investors (Class B1)
  • Investors/shareholders in mining and mineral prospecting (Class C)
  • Manufacturing investors (Class E)
  • Qualified professionals — medical, legal, engineering, accountancy, architecture, surveying, nursing and similar (Class F)

Requirements

  • Evidence of the qualifying investment or, for Class F, professional registration and qualifications
  • Company registration and shareholding documents where applicable
  • Passport valid for at least 6 months plus passport photograph
  • Relevant sector licences (e.g. mining, professional practising licence)

How to apply

Apply online at visas.immigration.go.ug, select the Entry Permit and the applicable class, upload the investment or professional-qualification documents, pay the fee and submit; report for biometric capture once approved.
