Visa fees depend on nationality. Official South Sudanese embassy guidance sets out a schedule in which most nationalities pay US$100, travellers from bordering African countries pay US$50, East African Community and Egyptian nationals are free, and US passport holders pay US$160; diplomatic passport holders are gratis and other cases follow the reciprocity principle. Fees are paid online for the eVisa or at the embassy.
For employment, the Ministry of Labour states the work permit application form costs $100, with an additional work permit fee paid to a prescribed bank account after processing. Fees can change, so confirm the current amount before paying.
