How to apply

Secure admission from the Bulgarian institution and gather proof of funds, insurance and accommodation.

Apply for a type 'D' long-stay visa at the competent Bulgarian embassy or consulate.

After arriving in Bulgaria, apply in person at the regional Migration Directorate for the continuous residence permit, and renew it for each subsequent year of study.
