Who it is for
Tourists and leisure visitors whose nationality is not covered by a visa exemption, and who cannot obtain a visa from a São Toméan diplomatic mission.
Requirements
- Passport valid for at least three months beyond the intended departure date, digitised as a PDF
- Confirmed onward or return ticket (mandatory)
- Accommodation details or a local contact
- Proof of sufficient means of subsistence (the SMF cites €100 per day)
- For minors: birth certificate and guardian declarations
How to apply
- Apply online through the SMF eVisaST portal at least 7 working days before travel
- Upload the required documents and submit the application
- Keep the process reference number generated on submission to track the request and check the entry-visa status
- Pay the fee on arrival at the border
