Requirements
- Residence of more than 12 months immediately before the application
- Qualifying residence/Government service totalling not less than the statutory period in the preceding seven years
- Good character and adequate knowledge of English and of a citizen's responsibilities
- Take the oath of allegiance; renounce other citizenship where required
How to apply
- Submit the application to the Citizenship Unit of the Ministry of Home Affairs
- Provide the application form, passport photographs and police clearance certificate
- Pay the applicable fees and, if granted, take the oath and collect the Certificate of Naturalisation
