Official guidance advises submitting entry-visa applications to the Immigration Department some weeks before travel, and lodging work permit applications at least two months before the intended start date, because the applicant must not work while the application is pending. These are lead-time recommendations rather than guaranteed decision times.

The Citizenship by Investment Unit does not publish a fixed processing time on its investment-options page. Because Saint Lucia does not publish official service-level times for most routes, treat any specific number of weeks or months as unverified and confirm current timelines with the relevant department before you rely on them.
